Kathryn G. "Kate" Stevenson, age 81, of Breese, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden. She was born September 2, 1943, in Breese, a daughter of the late Robert "Bob" and Hazel (nee Edwards) Nave.
In addition to her parents, Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Stevenson, whom she married February 6, 1965, in Carlyle and who died May 26, 2024; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry Stevenson, Betty Lou Clymens, James Liening, Tom Katusich, and Peggy Stevenson.
Kate is survived by her brother, Vernon (Debbie) Nave of Carlyle; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenny (Janice) Stevenson of Pocahontas, Charlotte Liening of Jamestown, Charlene (John) Grapperhaus of Highland, Charles Steven
