Lorene M. Rehkemper, age 86, of St. Rose, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Stillwater Senior Living in Edwardsville. She was born February 1, 1939, in St. Rose Twp, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Gertrude (nee Kampwerth) Buehne.
In addition to her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Rehkemper, whom she married October 13, 1959, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland and who died June 15, 2017; siblings, Lucille (Louis) Thole, Norbert (Regina) Buehne, Esther (Ed) Thole, Imogene (Leon) Luber, Eugene "Butch" (Geraldine "Gerry") Buehne, and Carol Moss; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Rosa (nee Hoh) Rehkemper; and brothers
