Alfred F. Toennies, age 90, of Damiansville, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born May 10, 1934, in Damiansville, a son of the late Albert and Mary, nee Heimann, Toennies.
In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Ann "Pat" Toennies, whom he married November 28, 1957, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso and who died June 1, 2023; daughter, Karen Toennies; sons, Randy Toennies and Mark Toennies; former son-in-law, Chris Condellire; siblings, Dot (Chuck) Goestenkors, Tom Toennies, and Albin "Bones" Toennies; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Frances, nee Trame, Wilken; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-l
